How to Eliminate Earwax Without Ear Damaging Q-tips

Tuesday, April 16, 2024 | By Amy Johnson

“Ain’t no one putting me in a home!” Grandpa yelled.

He’s a firecracker, always has been, so we didn’t think it would be easy to persuade him to move into an old folks home, but we were trying to persuade him anyway.

All because of his ear wax.

Yeah, I know, it sounds weird, but his ear wax had been clogging up his ears more and more lately, and we noticed the more his ears were clogged, the more “not all there” he seemed to be – not to mention grumpy.

He had trouble hearing us but he also started getting the names of his grandchildren mixed up, not to mention he was mixing up dates and times of events.

On top of all that, he complained about losing things all the time and headaches.

I was getting really afraid for him that he would get into an accident or be a victim of identity theft for how careless he was being with everything.

Worse, it seemed plain dangerous to live alone like he did when with his deteriorated hearing I was afraid he wouldn’t hear alarms and the sounds of dangers.

So me and the rest of the family got together to try to persuade him to move into a retirement home.

“Please grandpa, just listen to reason!” I said.

But he was having none of it. He put his hands over his ears like a child and said, “I’m not listening!”

My cousin, always snide, said, “That’s because you CAN’T listen with your ears clogged up.

Grandpa said, “WHAT?” and it became apparent he really couldn’t hear exactly what we were talking about.

I had bought grandpa all these ear cleaning tools, from q-tips to ear candles. Nothing worked.

Worse yet, grandpa seemed to be acting crazier and weirder lately. He came to a family function with socks on but no shoes!

Finally, I decided that there had to be one more thing to try. Before I would sentence my beloved Grandpa to living the rest of his days alone in a crusty nursing home, I decided to talk to the doctor, to see if he had any insight.

“Well, I have to say, it’s a good thing that Harry here has a granddaughter who takes such good care of him,” Dr. Killian said, “The problem here is bad, but if he had waited much longer, it would have been so much worse.”

“Oh no!! Well I’m glad we came in,” I said, while Grandpa nodded away, not seeming to pay attention at all, “What is the problem?”

“It might sound funny, but it’s his ears,” Dr. Killian told us.

“His ears?? How the heck are his ears making him crazy?” I asked, so confused.

“Well, it’s more common than we would like to admit, but ear hygiene often falls to the wayside as we get older,” Dr. Killian said, “And while some people might think it’s just gross to have waxy ears, it’s actually very dangerous for health—waxy ears can lead to partial or full deafness, and even early cognitive decline. The quality of life drastically decreases once these conditions take root in a senior.”

“Whoa! But how could deafness be permanent? And how could that cause early cognitive decline?” I asked, starting to get really worried.

Dr. Killian smiled gently, “Don’t worry, Harry isn’t in a state of permanent damage yet, but it is good to know what could happen if his earwax is left unchecked. As for the deafness becoming permanent—long-term ear wax buildup can cause inflammation and even ruptures that can’t be repaired, even after the wax gets cleaned out.”

“Jeez, I had no idea!” I told him.

He nodded, “And in my opinion, that’s not even the worst part. The worst? It affects my ability to think clearly. For me, it’s the scariest thing about aging, and one that I will personally avoid at all costs.”

“How is it that earwax affects people’s brains?” I asked.

“If an ear has too much wax that impairs hearing, the brain is working overdrive to interpret the sounds. Imagine being underwater, and trying to breathe only through a straw—that’s how the brain feels when it’s trying to hear the world through a blocked ear,” he explained, “And like the person stuck under water, the brain can only concentrate on the one thing—surviving—so “extra” brain activity, like recall, and memories are completely forgotten.”

“Whoa!! I had no idea that earwax is so hard on the brain!” I said.

Dr. Killian nodded, “Many people don’t! And the big problem is that once the brain gets starved like that for a while, the muscle memory goes away altogether, leaving recall and memories behind.”

“Oh my goodness!! Please, tell me it’s not too late for my Grandpa!!” I begged the doctor.

Dr. Killian smiled, leaned over, took my hand into his warm dry hand and looked me in the eye, “It’s not too late for Harry. Luckily, he has a family who loves him and who brought him in early enough to avoid any issues like this.”

I breathed out a big sigh of relief. Dr. Killian had such a warm and comforting presence, and I felt better already, knowing that it wasn’t too late to help my Grandpa.

“So, what do we need to do to get my Grandpa healthy again?” I asked.

“Well, there are a couple of options,” Dr. Killian said, “The one that other doctors would recommend—as long as the family can afford it—is to do quarterly professional ear cleanings in an ENT doctor’s office. This would cost about $600 out of pocket, or more, depending on insurance.”

“Gosh, that’s pricey!!” I said, “I’m not sure how we could handle that.”

Dr. Killian nodded, understanding, “And there’s another reason I don’t like that option—it means bringing an otherwise healthy patient into medical facilities, and depends on the patient and his family to make sure they never miss an appointment. Easier said than done in this day and age.”

“Well, is there another way?” I asked, starting to get worried again.

“Luckily, there is,” Dr. Killian said, “It’s a new and improved product that has recently been optimized to medical-grade, that anyone can order from the comfort of their own homes, and even better—use in the comfort of their own homes.”

“That sounds perfect!” I said, “What is it?”

“It’s called the Klean Ears, and it’s a really astonishing product,” Dr. Killian said, “I’ve seen  plenty of ear-cleaners come and go, but nothing like this. It does just what the name says—it gently catches and pulls out the excess wax in the ears.”

“Is it that much better than Q-tips?” I asked.

“Oh my dear, SO much better! I don’t recommend ANYONE use Q-tips to clean their ears—they’re much more likely to push wax in and become impounded, making the problems even worse. The Klean Ears instead gently penetrates deep in the ear with one motion, and pulls out all of the earwax with another, with no risk of pushing wax in or damaging the ear. It’s really a revolution in at-home hygiene,” Dr. Killian told me.

“Wow, okay, that sounds like just the ticket!” I said, but then something popped into my mind..

“Is it expensive?” I asked, praying that we could afford it.

“Not at all!! For less than the cost of a steak dinner, Harry will have a device that will keep his ears clear for the rest of his life!” Dr. Killian smiled.

Wow!! I was so happy to hear that we had a solution in our sights!

As soon as we got home, I looked up Klean Ears online right away. I wanted to see what other people were saying about Klean Ears.

It was amazing, here’s what I found:

What is Klean Ears?

The Klean Ears is a revolutionary new tool for removing ear wax safely. I did look at my box of Q-Tips when I got home, and my doctor was right—It says right there on the box, “Do Not Insert Into Ear Canal.” When you’re using Q-Tips, you’re just pushing the wax further into the ear, creating more blockage. They can even cause ear infections.

But the Klean Ears is actually designed for ear wax removal. It works like a soft corkscrew. You just twist the flexible, soft ends into the ear and then pull the wax out. And, when you’re done, the disposable head pops off and into the garbage can with the press of a button.

And, my favorite part is: They don’t go too far into the ear. They’re designed so they won’t cause any damage or irritation.

Everybody Seems To Be Getting In On This Trend

Ever since Klean Ears has been introduced, more and more people have been ditching their old cotton swabs and choosing a better way to clean your ears. That’s because, even though they knew using old cotton swabs was just compacting the wax and making the problem worse, it was the only thing to do…

But now, people are switching over to the innovative product that grips and pulls the earwax right out of your ear.

Millions of people are avoiding hearing ear blockage, hearing loss and infection simply by switching over to the Klean Ears…

But… Is it Really Worth All This Hype?

Since its debut, The Klean Ears has been SELLING OUT just about as soon as it gets in stock… it’s become that popular.

And, this is all due to the amazing reviews and people sharing on social media, because it hasn’t even been advertised to the public yet! It’s all because of word of mouth…

The Klean Ears has easily developed a cult following, with over 12,000 of it’s verified customers reviewing with 5-stars. Here’s a look at what they’re saying:

Seriously, I’ll never be without this

“I always felt like my ears were clogged up. My husband just thought I couldn’t hear anything to begin with. Luckily, I came across the Klean Ears and decided to give it a shot and WOW did it work like a charm!”

– Tony Stevens, Verified Buyer

One of my best purchases this year

“LOVE this thing! I can’t believe how good it actually feels compared to q-tips or gross earwax candles. This thing has saved me AT LEAST two to three trips to the doctor for professional draining.”

– Jasmine Bell, Verified Buyer

Does the job… literally.

“My dad seemed to be losing his mind, so a friend recommended he clean his ears regularly with one of these. Within a month, the difference in his cognitive ability was clear as day. It’s refreshing to see him get back to his old ways. Thanks Klean Ears!”

– Scott Callens, Verified Buyer

I wanted to get a professional’s opinion on the effectiveness of The Klean Ears, so I spoke with ear, nose and throat doctor, Dr. Timothy S Gusto, to see if the hype was justified. Here’s his take:

“It’s common to think that the ears can be quickly cleaned through a variety of methods. When in fact, things like cotton swabs, ear candles, and even expensive flushing kits have got it all wrong. Most of the patients I see about tinnitus and memory loss can be traced back to one of these false cleaning methods. The ears are more important than we think.

In all my years as an Otolaryngologist, I’ve never come across a product as effective and easy to use as the Klean Ears. Instead of using a blunted end, it has a soft, pointed tip that goes directly into the ear and scoops out the wax almost effortlessly. I recommend it to all my patients for cleaning their ears.”

– Dr. Timothy S Gusto, Otolaryngologist

After Dr. Gusto’s endorsement, I was sold and needed to get The Klean Ears for my grandpa and myself.

I went online (Klean Ears isn’t sold in stores yet) I saw there was a money-back guarantee, I knew I had nothing to lose, and everything to gain. I decided to order Klean Ears right away.

But when I clicked the BUY NOW button, they were SOLD OUT!! My heart dropped, but I was determined. Now that I had a solution for my Grandpa in my sights, there was no way I was going to give up.

I checked back the next couple of days until the Klean Ears was back in stock. Once again, I clicked the BUY NOW button—this time, I clicked so fast that it made my fingers burn! I felt such a great sense of relief wash over me when I got my confirmation email. My Grandpa’s Klean Ears was on its way!

When it arrived, I was surprised. I thought it would be this weird looking and bulky medical device, but it was compact and cute, almost like an electric toothbrush. Could this little thing really make such a big difference in my Grandpa’s life?

Long story short, it did!

I decided to try it on myself, first.

I was kind of scared when I first started using it. After hearing what the doctor said about impounded earwax, I didn’t want to pack mine in! But like he said, the Klean Ears seemed to easily and painlessly glide into my ear. It tickled a tiny bit, but was pretty much painless.

When I slowly pulled it back out, it felt really weirdly satisfying, like picking my nose and getting a BIG one. Not that I pick my nose of course! But, it felt like that.

And when I looked at the wax, I swear I could have almost fainted. There was SO MUCH!! How the heck all of that came out of my little ear, I had no idea. It was nasty!! But, as they say—better out than in!

And I have to say—I IMMEDIATELY felt so much better. It was honestly like the doctor said—it felt like my brain was breathing fresh air, instead of through a straw. I didn’t even know I had wax problems! I couldn’t wait to see how it worked for my Grandpa.

And sure enough—it was amazing!! It was so easy to use, that he had no problem. And if I thought there was a lot of wax in my ears—oooh BOY, his ears were full of it! It was honestly like a stream of earwax. Nasty, but also satisfying to see that the earwax that was hurting my Grandpa was getting out of his life for good.

Now, how much does it cost? Is it worth the price?

The Klean Ears currently sells for $40. At first, I thought the price was a bit steep. I mean, $40 for an ear cleaner? But, after seeing how well it worked with my mother and then using it for myself, I’ve completely changed my tune…

First of all, these things clean my ear better than any cotton swabs I’ve ever used. I was actually surprised by how much wax I pulled out of my own ear! But, it turns out, I had only ever just been pushing the wax further in when using cotton swabs…

Plus, I’ve had tinnitus for the past few years. You know, it’s a constant ringing in your ears. Very annoying. Well, after using the Klean Ears , I no longer have that annoying ringing! So, not only do I feel like a kid again, but The Klean Ears actually improved my hearing!

But most of all, the positive effect that it’s had on my elderly mom the investment in The Klean Ears is worth it a million times over. You can’t put a price on helping your loved ones, but if I had to, I would have spent my life savings just to see the benefits my mother has gotten from using The Klean Ears.

When you take all of that into consideration, the $40 is absolutely well worth the price.

The Klean Ears website is currently offering a 2-for-1 deal.

The Klean Ears official website is doing a buy one get one sale for the next 24 hours. After seeing that, I have to let you know, that everybody who uses The Klean Ears should immediately toss them in the garbage and order The Klean Ears, they’re just that good. Take it from me, using them is one of the best feelings in the world.
